nob.center (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides domain-focused security monitoring services, including Certificate Transparency (CT) log monitoring, RDAP/WHOIS change tracking, and DNS monitoring.
We are based in Canada and operate the service globally.

2. What Data We Collect
2.1 Account Data
- Email address
- Authentication metadata (e.g. password hash or external authentication identifier)
- Account status and timestamps (creation, last login)
We do not require or store personal names.
2.2 Monitoring & Configuration Data
- Domains you choose to monitor
- Certificate Transparency filters
- RDAP/WHOIS monitored domains
- DNS monitoring configuration
- Alert rules, templates, and delivery status
This data is provided explicitly by you as part of using the service.
2.3 Public Internet Data
We process and store publicly available data, including:
- Certificate Transparency log entries
- RDAP / WHOIS records published by registries and registrars
- DNS records published by authoritative name servers
This data is stored for the purpose of change detection, historical comparison, and alerting. We do not enrich, infer, or combine this data with third-party personal datasets.
2.4 Technical & Security Data
- IP address
- User agent
- Request timestamps
- API usage metadata
This data is used for service operation, abuse prevention, rate limiting, debugging, and security monitoring.
3. What We Do Not Collect
We do not:
- Run advertisements
- Track users across websites
- Use third-party analytics or marketing trackers
- Collect browsing behavior outside of our service
- Sell or resell personal or operational data
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies only, such as session cookies required for authentication and application functionality. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Third-party services (such as payment providers) may set their own cookies during checkout or authentication flows.
5. How We Use Your Data
We process data for the following purposes:
- Providing domain monitoring and alerting functionality
- Operating and securing the platform
- Delivering alerts and notifications
- Processing payments
- Complying with legal and accounting obligations
6. Payments & Third Parties
6.1 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record for subscriptions purchased through nob.center.
Paddle is responsible for payment processing, invoicing, tax calculation, and regulatory compliance. We do not store credit card numbers, banking details, or payment authentication secrets.
Paddle may collect personal and business information as required for payment processing, tax reporting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Paddle’s processing is governed by their own privacy policy.
6.2 Service Providers
We may share limited data with service providers strictly for operating the service, such as hosting, email delivery, and payment processing. These providers receive only the data necessary to perform their function. We do not sell data to third parties.
7. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary:
- Account data: retained while your account is active
- Monitoring data: retained while a domain is actively monitored
- Alert and history data: retained to provide historical views and diffs
- Operational logs: retained for a limited period (typically 30–90 days) unless required longer for security or legal reasons
You may delete monitored domains or close your account at any time.
8. International Data Processing
Data may be processed in Canada, Germany and/or the United States, depending on infrastructure and service providers. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data regardless of processing location.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access your data, correct inaccurate data, delete your account and associated data, or object to certain processing activities. Requests can be made by contacting privacy@nob.center.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
